Huayno Dance

This musical expression is the oldest of the South American Andes. Rich of vivacious and energetic movements, it represents the joy that inspire the coquetry and gentleness during the course of the dance. It is in Cusco, capital of the Great Empire of the Incas, where Huayno has found the ideal scene in the innumerable celebrations that are attributed to the Sun, God of the Incas or to the Inca. Son of the Sun. The instruments originally executed are: quena, antara, zampona, harp and drum composing an incomparable musical demonstration only found in this part of the world. The costumes of this geographic zone are extremely elaborate and the embroidery is done based on the colors of the rainbow.
